Here at Nomadz, we do a lot of swimming – especially when travelling. Nothing feels better – nor combats jetlag more effectively – after a long haul flight than a refreshing swim. As a result, we have tried every type of swim goggles you can imagine (speedo, tyr, zoggs, etc). The market is crowded with lots of brand names and plenty of product but, sadly, the build quality of goggles leaves a lot to be desired. Is it too much to ask for a goggle that doesn’t strangle your face, pinch your eye sockets, fog up after fifteen minutes of use, or leak? Afraid so. And what about toddler swim goggles? Forget about it. Your child will think that you are trying to torture them.
On the other hand, we have never had this problem with the Aqua Sphere swim goggles. They are a joy to use over long periods of time and don’t suffer from the shortcomings of the competition. This is essential travel gear.
If you are a swimmer – or, just looking for the perfect gift to give to a regular swimmer – we wholeheartedly recommend you get yourself a Kaiman, Kayenne, or Seal. There are lots of different models to choose from – clear, coloured lenses, mirrored lenses, etc – and some even have interchangeable lenses. And if you don’t want to take our word for it, just check out the gushing reviews on Amazon.
