If you want the best foot reflexology that money can buy in Singapore, then go to “Foot Court” at B01-03 Orchard Towers on Orchard Road. Not only does this shop give fantastic foot reflexology but it does it for a very decent price.
I’ve been coming here off and on for 11 years and I’ve never had a bad massage. Despite the high quality of the staff, however, the manager is the best of the bunch. If you want a very firm – almost excruciating but exceedingly tension releaving – massage, then he really delivers. Better still, he doesn’t resort to using pencil sticks and other lazy gimmicks. He uses his own fingers; fingers powerful enough to mould steel.
The last time I went (today), a 30 minute foot reflexology and 30 minute body massage cost me a total of $50 SGD.
If you’ve never ventured into the lower courts of a shopping mall to have a massage, then you are missing one of Singapore’s simple pleasures. Don’t be put off by the seediness of the building, though, as Orchard Towers does have some businesses of dubious domain. Everything here is above board and very professional.
There are a number of foot reflexology places in the basement of Orchard Towers but “Foot Court” is the one closest to the front, facing Orchard Road.
After you finish your massage check out the large food court opposite. I polished off a very pungent and yummy Mee Siam for $3 SGD.
