This restaurant is on the same lane as Aurora – just before (go to the main square, walk towards TOD’s, then turn right and head down the lane).
The atmosphere is traditional – if not a little stuffy – but colourful and inviting. I struggled, however, to give it a score of 3 because the food was so hit-and-miss. For instance, the pasta was clotted, more dense than al dente and nothing to rave about. However, the sea bass was just fantastic.
My advice for anyone eating in Capri would be to ask for whatever the best fish of the day is and order a large enough one for two people. Most likely you will receive a lovely sea bass, baked and covered with herbs and a simple cherry tomato sauce.
Aurora was better but you probably don’t want to eat there everyday.
