Cloud computing services are hitting streets like raindrops in a storm. Avalon has been at this for awhile but they’ve improved their game with support for more services and more file formats for their iPhone/iPad App.
The Air Sharing App allows you to access Cloud storage from a variety of services – GoogleDocs, DropBox, MobileMe, FilesAnywhere, MyDisk.se, WebDav Servers, FTP & SFTP Servers, Box.net, SSH Servers and attachments inside your iPhon/iPad mailboxes – all over 3G or WiFi.
You can then download files to your device and natively read certain types of docs within the App – iWorks, MS Office, HTML, RTF, Source Code, movies, photos, audio and PDF. In addition to reading certain files within the App, you can also send images to Photos and vice versa, email a file, move/duplicate files, create new folders, zip files, download files from a URL and print documents.
It’s search engine will search for text within PDFs and if there’s another user nearby on the same WiFi network, you’ll be able to instantly connect with them to share files from device-to-device.
That’s a lot of functionality for the price!
